The friggid cold wasn’t enough to keep 250,000 people from rockin downtown Pittsburgh yesterday as the city hosted a parade to honor the 2006 Super Bowl Champion Steelers. I have never seen so many people in my life. People were climbing trees and traffic light posts just to get a view. Parking garages were packed full of fans waving their towels and the streets were filled with black and gold love.

On a side humor note I had to laugh when Governor Rendell came to the stage and the crowd started chanting “MAR-IO MAR-IO MAR-IO”. Anyone else care to doubt the citizens support for a new arena? Here’s the video.
