Pittsburgh Flood 2004 – Hurricane Ivan

Having been declared the worst flood of all-time, Pittsburgh got a taste of Hurricane Ivan with a reported 5.5+ inches of rain fell on southwestern PA this past Friday. Click the image above to go to the photo gallery I took of pictures from Sunday after the river had crested. I was fortunate with only having minimal damage but my neighbors were not as lucky. A whole block of families had flooded basements and threw away most of their possessions.
